Philippians 1:11 - Paul prays for believers to be "filled with the fruits of righteousness which are by Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God." This shows that righteousness (the fruit) is matured through Christ.

Matthew 3:8 - John the Baptist calls to "bear fruits worthy of repentance," which are the good works and righteous character that show a transformed life in Christ.
